Summer Fun Calendar continued!
We've been working off a fun calendar that I put together in mid June and our fun continues!
We played Kickball croquet with some pool noodles.
Dad and Evin built a playdough volcano that we still need spray paint and put to use!
We used a water bottle, molded lots of tin foil around it to make it look like a volcano and then covered it in some of our old homemade playdough that had seen better days.
We had a great night learning about bees and honey at the Majestic View Nature Center.
Auntie and Evin made exploding ice cubes and squirted them with vinegar to watch them bubble away!
1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup water
food coloring
freeze in to an ice cube tray
Then take outside on a hot day and squirt with vinegar!
Farmer Thor showed up to roast some marshmallows and eat smores over our new firepit.
We build a splash pond in the front yard.
We went to the skate park!
Dug for bugs with the neighbor.
And made alphabet rocks that live in the garden for whenever we might want to spell.....which could be never!
Phew! What a fun few weeks!
